Who is running this tour?
UltraSinai has partnered with Cadence Seekers for this tour. Ramy, the owner of Cadence Seekers is a long time friend and cyclist experience in running tours in the Sinai peninsula. He will be the go-to person for logistics, security, safety and organisation with the local authorities.
Is it safe?
Despite the ongoing conflict in Gaza, this region is incredibly safe. There are many military checkpoints in the area, and extreme care is taken to make sure tourists have the best experience in Egypt. Both UltraSinai and Cadence seekers have plenty of experience in the region and would not be running this trip if risks were high.
There is a much higher risk of bicycle related injuries than criminal/terrorist activity.
